What kind of distillery is it?

The brewery was founded in 1948 when its founder began brewing awamori in Nakijin. In 1974 the name was changed to Nakijin Shuzo Sho, and in 1980 the brewery moved to its present site at Nakasone 500. The long-aged kusu Sennen no Hibiki was released in 1993. In 2002 the organization was reorganized as a limited company under the name Nakijin Shuzo. In 2012 the fourth president took office, and in 2018, for the 70th anniversary of the founding, the brewery held its first kura matsuri.
