Community rules
In short
- Reviews, photos and profiles on KIKI (利き) are a place for people aged 20 and over to share what they think of sake, shochu and awamori. Please post with respect for other users and for the people who make the drinks.
- No discrimination, harassment, sexual content, personal information, advertising, encouraging people under 20 to drink, or pushing heavy drinking.
- You can "report" posts or people that worry you and "block" people you don't want to deal with. A review reported by three people is hidden until we have checked it.
- We hide or remove posts that break the rules and suspend accounts that keep doing it. If you disagree with a decision, you can appeal by e-mail.
This summary is for convenience; the full text below is what applies.

These rules form part of the Terms of use.
What matters to us
- Be honest: write your own impressions of drinks you actually had. A drink you didn’t like makes a good review too, if you say why.
- Be respectful: to other users and to the breweries. Criticise the drink, not people.
- Drink in moderation: this is not a place to compete over how much you drink. Stamps and XP come from ratings and scans you record, not from how much you drink, and there is a daily limit on what counts.
Reviews
- Write about the drink (aroma, taste, the food you had with it, the temperature you drank it at and so on).
- Links, e-mail addresses and phone numbers are not allowed (checked automatically).
- No reviews written for a reward, and no reviews meant to promote drinks you are connected to or to run down others.
- Please don’t repeat the same text or post things unrelated to drinks.
Photos
- The drink, bottle, label or glass should be the subject.
- No photos showing people (a hand holding the bottle is fine).
- No nudity or sexual content, hate symbols, violence, or personal information such as addresses or names.
- Please don’t post photos taken by someone else or photos of screens or websites.
- Profile photos and review photos are checked by AI before they are shown. If one can’t be shown, we tell you why.
- A label photo you reported as “not listed” is shown as the bottle’s picture only with your consent and after AI and our own check.
Profiles (first name, KIKI ID, photo)
- No discriminatory, sexual or hurtful words (checked automatically).
- Don’t impersonate other people, breweries, shops, well-known people or us.
- Profiles are public by default. To limit who sees yours, switch to a private account in the settings.
Drinking responsibly
- No posts encouraging or helping people under 20 to drink.
- No posts encouraging or pushing downing drinks in one go, heavy drinking, drink-driving, or drinking while pregnant or breastfeeding.
Reporting and blocking
- Report a review: tap “Report” under the review, choose a reason (spam or advertising, offensive content, harassment or bullying, inappropriate photo, other) and add a note if you like.
- Report a person: tap “Report” at the bottom of their page (impersonation can be reported too).
- The person you report is not told who reported them. Reports come to us and we check them.
- A review reported by three different people is hidden at once. We then check it and decide whether to show it again or keep it hidden.
- Block someone: tap “Block” at the bottom of their page. They can no longer follow you, send you friend requests or see your profile, and you no longer see their reviews or find them in search. Unblock under Settings → Blocked users.
When rules are broken
We hide or remove posts that break these rules or the Terms of use, restrict features where needed, and suspend or delete accounts. In serious or repeated cases we may suspend without notice.
If you disagree with a decision, send the post or KIKI ID concerned and your reasons to admin@kiki-sake.com. We will review it and tell you the result.
