What kind of brewery is it?
The company dates its founding to the fifth year of Kanbun (1665), starting with sake brewing. It added miso and tamari in 1708 and soy sauce in 1868. Morita Goshi Kaisha was set up in 1898 and reorganized as Morita Co., Ltd. in 1955. The sake Morita was released in 1981, and after group restructuring from 2004 the company now runs production and sales together.
