What kind of brewery is it?
History
Brewing has continued in the Mikage district since 1751 (Horeki 1), and the same family has run the brewery for thirteen generations. The 1995 Great Hanshin earthquake destroyed the wooden brewery, and a new one opened in 1997. It brews in the Nada Gogo area with Mikage's underground water (miyamizu) blended with purified water, and values hand work. The grounds hold the Fukuju brewhouse open for viewing, a restaurant, a brewery shop and a hall, and the brewery works on more environmentally conscious brewing.
