What kind of brewery is it?

The brewery began making sake in 1804 in the Otsuru area of Hita. It released the sake Tsunonoi in 1908 and was incorporated as a limited partnership company in 1954. In 1964 it built the GoRinkan year-round brewing house, and in 1978 it obtained a license to wholesale all kinds of alcoholic beverages. A barley shochu, Kyushu Nmon, went on sale in 1983, and in 1991 the Seikei Bunko exhibition facility was opened to show belongings of a former finance minister. In 2004 the company became a stock company, and to mark 200 years since its founding it released the barley shochu Momosuke and the rice shochu Mon. Liqueur production began in 2009.
